Hedrena uses a low micron - superfine merino wool grown in the Australian outback. Merino wool is renowned for being soft and warm, perfect for colder months, but is less known for its unique ability to regulate body temperature in both cold and warm climates. It has an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio trapping a cushion of heat in its superfine fibres. Merino wool also absorbs water, drawing sweat away from the skin to help keep you cool and dry. In our opinion this is one of the best natural fibres clothing can be made from.
